About

In the very core of our being, there lies an innate need for the raw beauty of the outdoors and the thrill of adventure. It’s been a constant companion throughout my life, taking myriad forms, ever evolving and forging friendships. In my younger days, mountain biking, skateboarding and surfing took centre stage in the adventure arena. As time marched on, around 2013, the rugged allure of the Australian wilderness called to me, and I found myself adept at devising intrepid escapes and somehow convincing mates to step into the unknown with me.
Armed with my camera, my familiar ally, I captured these moments. I then started to stitch together stories to complement the visuals, sharing them in this blog Get Out Adventures.
Reflecting on these adventures, I realise much of my wanderlust is a precious inheritance from my father. He first showed me how to dance with danger and beauty, be it abseiling down sheer cliffs or braving the wild fury of Bondi Beach’s rocks amid rolling storms and towering waves. His lessons went beyond mere adventure; they were a profound reverence for the natural world.
This website is more than a collection of images and anecdotes. It’s a tribute to the incredible experiences shared with a diverse ensemble of companions who joined me in the pursuit of adventure and fun. Despite the protest of my arthritic toes, my heart is set on continuing these adventures, filling future pages of this online chronicle. These experiences have been a wellspring of joy and fulfilment, and through these pages, I invite you to immerse yourself in this vibrant world of adventure, with the hope that it ignites a similar spark in you.
